Markanthony is a 6’1” versatile playmaking guard who is able to facilitate, score and defend. He is a high-energy defender and leader on the court, in the locker room and in the community.
He started his college playing at NCAA3 Lycoming College, where he was named Player of the Week on two occasions. He then moved up to Lock Haven Univ. where he was Team Captain, PSAC All Conference and a 3x All Academic Team member. He then moved on to Salem Int'l University, where he led them to the 2023 USCAA National Championship.

During his rookie year in Thailand, he led the Pattaya Red Dragons of the TEBA to a Championship, where he was named Finals MVP. ​​
