Spivey is a strong combo guard who can play both the 1 & 2 positions. At 6’1” / 185, Spivey is a crafty, high-IQ shooting guard with a scorer’s instinct and an elite defensive motor. He thrives creating off the dribble, knocking down threes, and disrupting opponents in the passing lanes. He is a gym-rat, who is always in the gym working on his overall game and skill set.
Spivey just finished up his career at Texas A&M International University (NCAA DII), completing his journey through the ranks — from JUCO to the NAIA to the Lone Star Conference. The San Bernardino native was a Senior Dustdevil in his final season, representing a program with a reputation for tough, competitive basketball in one of the nation’s premier Division II conferences. He was named the "Breakout Player of the Year."
Prior to TAMIU, Spivey earned All-Conference honors at Corban University (NAIA), averaging 13.8 points per game while racking up 43 steals on the season and shooting 35.7% from three. He led Corban in Scoring, Steals, 3FG Attempted & Made, FG Made.
Before that, he spent two seasons developing at Palomar College (JUCO). Spivey played High School basketball in La Verne, CA at Damien and led them to a CIF State Championship — earning State Championship MVP honors — while averaging 26 points per game.
Spivey graduated in May 2026 from Texas A&M International.
